Description

The structure of the MW-SM5.0 is simple, but still extremely effective in terms of insulation and damping. Basically, a 2 mm thick, self-adhesive aluminum butyl is used here, which prevents metal or plastic parts from resonating. A thin aluminum foil provides the necessary stability. In addition, there is a 3 mm thick foam layer above the aluminum layer, which dampens unwanted sound waves. In this way, the sound from the rear is effectively dampened and not reflected, i.e. the sound waves that otherwise occur do not “hinder” the loudspeaker in its work.
